About The Author
The author, Bob Brown, is a born-again, blood-bought child of God. Inspired to share the good
news of Jesus Christ in the marketplace (outside of the church building), he published his first
book (Christian Lawyers, A Duty to Seek and Ensure Justice According to Biblical Principles) in
2013. Since writing Christian Lawyers, God has blessed Bob by allowing him to write several
other Christian books over the past decade.
Bob is married to the love of his life, Carolyn. They have two wonderful daughters, two amazing
sons-in-law, and two wonderful grandsons.
Bob was ordained as a minister of the Lord with the laying on of hands by the elders of
Cornerstone Church and Believer’s Gathering Place in a joint ordination service in Northeast FL
in 2014. In addition to the ministry, Bob is a practicing attorney with responsibilities across the
Southeastern United States and the Caribbean.
In the summer of 2016, after three years of prayer, with the help of his two grandsons and oldest
son-in-law, Bob carried a cross weighing about 68 lbs from Key Largo, FL, to the Southernmost
Point of the United States in Key West, FL. To say the least, the Florida Keys are hot and humid
in the summer.
The team started at mile marker 102.5 in Key Largo. Suffering shoulder and foot injuries the first
day, Bob was still able to carry the cross 94.22 miles of the 102.5 miles from the team hotel to
the southernmost point, including walking across more than 20 bridges. This includes the team
enduring two separate tropical storms and the heat of a Florida Keys summer.
These challenges are a great reminder that following God’s will does not guarantee an easy road.
However, God promises never to leave or forsake His children (Hebrews 13:5-6) -- God shows
up when we need Him. During the battle, God carries us when we are weak. (Psalm 28:7; 2
Corinthians 12:9). Why would anyone ever go to battle without Jesus as their General, their
King, and their Champion?
My hope rests solely in Jesus Christ. At about 6 years of age, I knew that Jesus Christ was my
Savior. Yet I have not always acted like a follower of Jesus Christ. On the contrary, there have
been many times in my life when I lived a lifestyle far from Christ. I drank alcohol to excess,
bathed in the excess of the world, and committed other sins. However, through it all, the Lord
kept his hands on my life. Deep down, I knew God was watching over me, not because of who I
am or what I had done, but rather because of the blood of Jesus Christ. In 1999, an eighteen-
wheeler hit the vehicle I was driving. After spinning, sliding, and rolling over several times, the
vehicle stopped--resting on the driver’s side. Upon receiving fourteen staples in my head, the
emergency room released me. In 1999, God got my attention. Since that day in 1999, I have been
on a journey of discovery, seeking to grow closer to God every day of my life. However, I am
far from perfect (ask the people who know me). I must ask God every day to help me be the man
He wants me to be.
God’s grace saves us through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). God’s grace does not mean
that a Christian’s life will not have deep valleys or high mountaintops. Rather, through it all, God
is working and in control.
CREDIT WHERE CREDIT BELONGS
All the glory and credit for the inspiration, writing, and publishing of these books belongs to
God. These books are not the complete works on America, Jesus Christ, Christ’s love, salvation,
or forgiveness. The Bible is 66 Books, 1,189 Chapters, 31,103 verses, and 807,361 words, all of
which point to Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, King, Victor, and Judge. The Bible does a far better
job than man can ever do of explaining Jesus Christ.
Test everything against the Word of God.
